Milk Education is working closely with a secondary school, within Sale, looking to appoint a 1:1 behaviour buddy This job would be on a temporary basis but the school are open to the idea of making it a permanent contract in the future
The role would be full time, 5 days a week working with pupils across KS3 and KS4 providing support to children who require assistance in overcoming their barriers to learning.
The role doesn’t require any teaching qualifications, just a positive mentality and confidence dealing with challenging and SEND pupils. Any experience with this will help but is not a necessity
**Responsibilities**:
- Supporting the development of SEND children and being enthusiastic in your approach
- Help and assist with any instructions from the teacher
- Create a safe secure space for the child
- Have the ability to maintain a sense of calmness and control
**Role requirements**:
- To have a knowledge and understanding of the secondary curriculum
- Capable of managing behaviour
- Experience with SEND children
- A strong passion to helping children with behaviour or learning difficulties
