Bouygues Energies & Services currently has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaning Supervisor to join our Facilities Management team based at a university campus in Ealing. This is a permanent full-time position working 48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 16:00 with a one hour unpaid lunch break.

**Key Activities**:

- Reporting to the Cleaning Manager to supervise the cleaning team.
- Undertake general cleaning duties as required including cleaning floors, toilets, furniture, emptying bins etc.
- Ensure the safety of cleaning equipment before use and reporting any defects
- Clean and return all cleaning equipment to the designated storeroom and ensure the housekeeping in the room is compliant
- To perform regular quality checks and audits on cleaning the standards
- Monitor consumable usage and order materials as required, undertaking regular stocktakes
- Support and deliver on HR related staffing issues including performance, sickness, timekeeping etc.
- Complete annual appraisal reviews and regular one to one meeting with direct reports
- Monitor compliance of COSHH and Risk assessment records
- Deliver Toolbox Talks to the team
- To ensure all standards of cleaning carried out by staff is of a high level and in line with contractual expectations
- Working 48 hours per week, Monday to Saturday from 07:00 to 16:00 with a one hour unpaid lunch break

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience of working in an FM/Cleaning environment with supervisory responsibility for employees
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with the client group
- Experience of managing/supervising a team of cleaners
- Excellent customer service skills and a high standard of work with attention to detail
- Adaptable and flexible can-do approach with a willingness to learn
- IOSH trained - desirable but not essential
- Understanding of COSHH
