Job Title: Junior Estimator - Manufacturing

**Salary**: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for manufacturing projects.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and procurement teams to gather necessary information for estimating.
- Learn to evaluate materials, labour, and equipment requirements for each project.
- Utilize estimating software and tools with guidance to generate detailed cost breakdowns.
- Assist in preparing and presenting cost estimates to management and clients.
- Monitor and update estimates throughout the project lifecycle with supervision.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements with mentorship.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Entry-level experience in manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.
- Willingness to learn and be trained in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
