**Job Description**:
Our client in Carlisle is looking for an experienced project coordinator, specifically a
**Resource Lead** to support the growth of their business.
You will be working as part of a large project management team to help develop and grow the business into a much more digital market, to serve their existing clients' needs and expectations.
A very rewarding role for someone who strives on being part of a development project and implementing positive changes for the future of a business, employees and clients.

**The role**:
Build on existing resource management practices and bring new initiatives to the team to help achieve the growth.
Identify potential risks associated with resource supply and demand.
Take ownership of the Resource Management Forum, chair meetings and communicate accordingly.
Produce monthly reports/analysis on resourcing.
Improve resource forecasting processes and maintain central forecasts for demand.
Work alongside project managers to improve quality of resource forecasting data.
Review project plans, resource requests and impact assessments, challenging where necessary
Support the road-map review and shaping processes, to gain a greater understanding of pipeline demand
Build effective relations with resource owners ensuring supply matches demand.
Chair regular meetings with resource owners to discuss demand forecast and potential under/over utilisation.
Implement recruitment strategies with key resource owners to ensure longer term strategic direction ensuring the right skill-sets are obtained within budget.
Work with project managers and resource owners to identify ways to resolve resourcing conflicts.

**Ideal skills**:
Excellent interpersonal skills, showing ablility to build effective relations with Project Managers, Project Sponsors and Resource Owners.
Strong communication.
Experience of running and facilitating governance meetings.
Experience using tools and spreadsheets for resource management.

**Hours and Salary**
Monday - Friday
9am-5pm
£50,000 per annum
