**Description**:
Little Imaginations is a vibrant early years camp located in Crouch End, London, catering to children aged 3 to 6 years old. Our camp specialises in fostering creativity and exploration through a diverse range of activities including dance, drama, singing, treasure hunts, sports, crafting, Montessori play, and story time. With a strong emphasis on both engagement and education, we provide an enriching environment for young minds to thrive. Operating during every holiday period, our camps are meticulously planned and prepared to ensure a memorable experience for both campers and staff.

We are currently looking for an onsite camp assistant to join our growing team (Starting 22/07/24, with some online training before attendance)

**Position Overview**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome children into the room with a positive and energetic attitude.
- Support children throughout activities in the day, with extra care a support to those with additional learning needs.
- Maintain the safety and wellbeing of the children in the group, including keeping the space tidy.
- Support the children with eating lunches.
- Support the children with any toilet trips.
- Collaborate with the leader and support in the delivery of each activity.
- Supervise playtimes.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Level 2 qualification in early years or childhood education or a full and relevant teaching qualification.
- Previous experience in an classroom or creative arts assistant role.
- Proactive energy, always maintaining a high standard of support.
- Familiarity with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and its principles.
- Valid safeguarding and first aid certifications.
- Valid enhanced DBS check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with parents, clients, and staff members.
- Availability to work during holiday periods on a self-employed basis.
- A passion for working with young children and a dedication to creating a positive and inclusive camp environment.

Employment Details:

- Self-employed position with a weekly payment of £500 per week
- Core hours are from 8:30 am to 3:15 pm each day, with additional hours compensated at an hourly rate of £15.
- Camps operate during every holiday period, including 7 weeks in the summer.
