Expeditor / Assistant Buyer

We are looking to recruit an Expeditor / Assistant Buyer

Duties include but are not limited to;
- Expediting all outstanding orders due for delivery and grading suppliers based on their response.
- Keeping production and customer services informed of any supply issues and offer an update on any relevant shortages.
- Ensuring that the pricing and vendor fields within the Visual MRP system are accurate and current.
- Sending out general enquiries to achieve cost savings where possible.
- Analysing and addressing price increases/reductions
- Ordering of consumable parts including paint, chemicals, tooling and packaging
- Ordering of Production parts where necessary
- Processing purchase order requisitions
- Processing supplier Non Conformance Reports, liaising with the supplier in order to obtain replacement and corrective actions
- Raising Debit Notes.
- Processing order acknowledgements.
- Organising UPS or other courier collections/returns.
- Contributing to the collection of data for the annual packaging regulation submission. Then sending the relevant information to SWS.
- Resolving invoice queries.
- Planning for the annual stock check. This involves; Informing suppliers of any relevant closure dates. Organising the necessary equipment and stationery required prior to the stock check. Partaking in the check itself which may involve identifying the locations of certain part numbers, calculating and noting the meterage/pcs and conducting recounts where necessary.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
