Dispensary Assistant

We are looking for a full time Dispensary Assistant to join our team at our Sheffield Road Hub in Chesterfield.

This role is a great opportunity to work in our newly fitted purpose built dispensing hub, which offers a great working environment. It’s a fast-paced and varied role, servicing both our home delivery patients and also many of our other pharmacies in the group.

The hours of work will be 42.5 hours per week. Precise working pattern will be discussed at interview.

The role will include:

- Carry out dispensing duties under the supervision of the Pharmacist manager
- Ensure all prescriptions are dispensed accurately and in a timely manner
- Respond appropriately to customer needs, politely and efficiently, by asking appropriate questions, following the Standard Operating Procedures for Sale of Medicines and Supporting Self-care.
- To maintain the pharmacy to a high standard.
- To monitor stock levels and adapt orders appropriately.
- Respond well to working in a fast-paced busy environment
- Be able to work as part of a team and also from their own initiative
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service
- Have a great telephone manner
- Be keen to learn and develop

Salary for all positions is dependent on previous experience.
