**Job Description -**
We publish several market leading websites and magazines while also representing a significant media portfolio of print and web-based products for our partner publishers.
An exciting opportunity to lead our content team across print, digital and events.
We work across sectors as diverse as legal, environmental, regeneration and local government through our diverse portfolio of digital and print products.
**The Role**
Day-to-day responsibility for content across the product portfolio
Managing a small team of staff journalists
Managing a team of freelance journalists
Ensuring content is uploaded efficiently and effectively
Manage the content in digital and print magazines
Liaise with the social media executives to maximise the reach of content
Research and write daily news articles and post onto the websites
Liaise with our administrators re the distribution of our weekly newsletters
Ensure the flow of third-party contributions
Occasionally attend industry events in the UK - including our own conferences
Interview industry figureheads and leading opinion formers
Ensure all copy adheres to media laws and good practice guidelines
**Qualifications and Experience**
A minimum of five years' journalism experience is required. This is an ideal position for someone looking to take the next step, manage a small team and develop the portfolio further.
A team player with strong coaching skills
Organised with effective and efficient administration
Ability to deliver clear and engaging copy
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong news judgement
Knowledge of social media platforms
**Personal Attributes**
We are looking for a motivated and energetic journalist who has the skills to lead our content team. With a high personal drive you will also want to become a ‘must read’ journalist in our markets while ensuring the quality of output from the wider team. Other attributes include:

**Salary**: £30,000 Circa
