The Virtual Pharmacy Homecare Service have an exciting opportunity to welcome a Pharmacy Assistant into our team. The UK Homecare Pharmacy sector is growing rapidly and our Pharmacy Homecare Team currently manage the supply of medicines directly to the homes of over 6,500 patients. We are looking for a forward thinking, organised and motivated person to join our dynamic Pharmacy Team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with us to meet the needs of our large, varied and highly specialized patient cohort. You will play a key role in the provision of specialist services helping us to deliver and improve the quality of patient care. In the midst of the global pandemic, this team has continued to facilitate maintaining the safe supply of medicines to patients homes, allowing them to stay at home and reducing visits to the hospital.

Main duties of the job

This varied role also includes carrying out general duties associated with Pharmacy Homecare Services:

- Invoice receipting
- Invoice reconciliation
- Raising purchase orders
- Updating databases
