Driver (Tipper)

_We are currently recruiting for a _**Class 2 Tipper Driver**_ _based at our Balmore Road, Glasgow Construction site._
- The successful applicant will be required to carry out daily DVSA vehicle checks including but not limited to tyre pressure, coolant, oil levels, re-fuelling and washing vehicles._
- You will be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is driven and maintained in a road legal manner, ensuring security of loads and undertaking each journey with in permissible weight of your vehicle._
- Required to complete deliveries and collections safely to and from various sites within the Central Belt._

**Working Hours**:

- Monday - Friday
- 39 hours per week, Permanent
- Overtime may be required on occasion to meet business demands

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**:

- Following safe working/driving practices at all times
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Delivering and collection of materials

**Health and Safety Responsibilities**:

- Health and Safety compliance
- Road safety legal compliance
- Minimum 2 years’ Tipper Driver experience
- Category 2 HGV Drivers Licence
- Valid Digi Tacho Card
- CPC Card

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Glasgow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Tipper Driving: 2 years (required)
