Procurement Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the central Finance department as Procurement Officer for maternity leave cover on a fixed term contract working in a proactive and value adding team.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in Procurement. With a friendly and approachable manner, you will have experience of working proactively and effectively with internal stakeholders.
- Excellent IT skills, competent in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Self-motivated with the ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively, balancing deadlines.
- Able to work proactively and effectively with other departments to deliver best value for money.
- Ability to work as a flexible and effective member of a small Procurement Team and wider Finance Team.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Friendly and approachable professional manner
**Remuneration**
Grade 6 of the College's London Pay Scale which is £ 37,143 rising to £ 38,127per annum.
**The salary quoted is on the College's London Pay Scale which includes a consolidated Weighting/Allowance which applies only to staff whose normal contractual place of work is in the London area.**
