**Job description** Harris DAF has an exciting opportunity available to join our team as a HGV Technician in Waltham Cross. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary. You will be entitled to 20 days holiday per annum. The shiftfor this role would be based on a 45hour contract, which would require a Saturday shift every other 0700-1200.

**_Various shifts available, Earlies/Lates & Night Shift._**

**About the role of HGV Technician**:
You would be carrying out routine inspections on HGV trucks, predominantly DAF but may see some other makes of trucks within the workshop. You would be expected to inspect vehicle's, MOT Prep vehicle's & defects which are found to be carried out. Experiencein diagnostics would be ideal for any faults on vehicle's which arrive with us. We are looking for a technician who can do anything from inspections > gearbox/engine repairs etc. You would also be enrolled into DAF Training, with the opportunity to becomea DAF Master Technician.

**Requirements**:

- IRTEC Licence (Not Essential, but ideal)
- HGV Licence (Not Essential, but ideal)
- Main Dealer Experience
- HGV Technician Experience
- Computer Literate (For Service Paperwork)

**Job Types: Full-time, Permanent**

**Salary: £18.46-£21.00 per hour**
