Your key responsibilities as Counter Sales will include:

- Managing and motivating a team
- Dealing with all retail and trade sales enquiries
- Identifying and assisting the customer with product selection
- Cash handling and the operation of the computerised stock system
- Building relationships throughout the industry
- A commitment to high standards of customer service
- Reporting on sales and targets when required
- Experience of working on a trade counter or customer facing role
- Experience of leading a team
- Committed and passionate about providing excellent customer service
- Target driven with a genuine passion for the customer
- Ability to work both individually and as part of a branch team
- Knowledge or a keen interest in building materials, hardware and timber
