We are recruiting for a HR Administrator to join our team at our office in Denby Dale To provide support to the management team.

At Community Places you will be a valued member of our established, friendly, and professional Management and Administrative team who support our residential care homes.

You will support a wide range of activities for HR, liaising with the HR department, training, managers, and colleagues to support with a variety of tasks on a day-to-day basis.

Your role will include but not limited to:

- Maintain and update a range of records systems or databases to ensure records are accurate, complete, and current. This will include inputting new starters, leavers, changes of address, hours, contract end dates in a timely and accurate manner on to the HR systems
- Carrying out administrative process for new hires in a timely manner and in line with the company policy. This may include preparation of induction packs, contracts of employment, obtaining references and any other compliance required for our services
- Provide support to the HR Officer relating to investigations including acting as a minute taker in formal meetings (e.g., disciplinary and grievance) when required
- Update employee records including sickness leave, any documents, personal info etc on our HR portal.
- Assist HR in producing various workforce information reports as required such as recruitment and selection, absenteeism, turnover.
- Collate information for payroll for submission each month.
- Ensure that the current filing system and online HR system is kept up to date.
- To assist with the recording and monitoring of annual leave
- Comply with Data Protection and General Data Protections Regulations (GDPR) and ensure the security of employee information in accordance with legislation and best practice.
- To understand responsibilities for the safeguarding of adults and reporting any concerns where relevant.
- To undertake training and development as agreed with the manager at appraisal.
- Provide cover to members of the administrative team as and when required.
- Liaising with HR with regard to any updates needed
- Provide assistance with the recruitment process

Your key attributes:

- Meticulous attention to detail and a strong sense of discretion.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to communicate in a professional and friendly manner across all levels both internally and externally.
- Strong ability to use initiative and juggle multiple tasks/projects at once.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Experience in dealing with HR matters and employment law would be beneficial but not essential.
- An enhanced DBS will be required (Paid for)

This is a part time role offered at 16 hours per week. We are open to a flexible working pattern and are happy to discuss this.
