**Material Handler Driver**

**£14.00-£16.00ph**

We have a great opportunity for a Material Handler Driver working for our Ports and logistics team supporting the discharge of vessels with one of the biggest Port Operators in the UK.

**The Job Role**
- Operating a material handler driver for the safe discharge of cargo
- Ensuring H&S is adhered to at all times
- General quayside duties as and when required
- Pre-shift safety checks for plant and equipment
- Valid Material Handler Licence
- experience in operating a Material Handler or in Material handler driving.
- Previous experience on a port is advantageous however other backgrounds considered e.g. Scrap Metal Yard, Construction, Demolition etc
- IOSH qualifications are highly advantageous e.g. Cargo Handling in Ports, Working Safely or Managing Safely but not essential as full training will be given
- Flexible approach to work
- Previous experience operating as a Material Handler is essential
- Other plant licences highly desirable but not essential e.g. Crane Driver, Payloader, Forklift etc

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: £14.00-£16.00 per hour
