**Key Responsibilities**
- Obtaining rates from suppliers and issuing quotations and answering general enquiries relating to air, sea and road import and export movements.
- Organising and coordinating the international movement and delivery of goods for our customers.
- Monitoring shipments to ensure goods are loaded to expected flights/vessels, and update customers.
- Communicating with customers in order to determine their service requirements.
- Instructing suppliers on the completion of Bills of Lading and Air waybills, and checking documents for accuracy prior to departure
- Liaising with suppliers to ensure that customer requirements are communicated and met.
- Ensure that all administration (including pricing and costing) is completed accurately.
- Ensure that all information is input on to the system accurately.
- Administrative tasks as required.

**Required level of competence for position**
- A basic knowledge of global geography
- Good interpersonal skills
- Detail orientated with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage your time effectively
- Good working knowledge of relevant software packages e.g. relevant MS Office programmes

**Desirable experience**
- Experience/exposure to freight forwarding, ideally within sea freight or air freight environments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
