We are looking for a Purchasing Administrator to join our fast paced and dynamic Purchasing team. The successful applicant needs to have a good attention to detail, be an effective communicator, well organised and competent on Company systems such as Office, 365, Excel, Teams, Word.

**Purpose of the Role**:
The role will cover all key functions including the Sales Team, Buyers, Stock Controllers, Suppliers, Operations and Finance. A varied and critical role for the Purchasing team, the Purchasing Administrator will cover general admin, listing new lines, special order placement, managing customer quotes for customer specific products and continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Create and maintain accurate product data on the in-house system
- Manage Purchase Order process for special customer orders and customer bespoke ranges in line with monthly demand, raising alerts where necessary and managing all filing of PAFs
- Support the Head Buyer with demand planning to ensure that we have the required stock cover
- Monitoring and chasing on delivery dates and availability to raised POs to protect and enhance customer service levels
- Obtaining quotes and managing queries for new customer bespoke products
- And any other administrative duties that are required.

**Experience/Skills Required**:
**Essential**:

- Excellent communication skills with good levels of written and verbal communication
- Computer Literate with all standard Company systems (Office, 365, Excel, Teams, Word)
- Excellent organisational skills and good eye for detail
- Demonstrate a high degree of attention to detail with the ability for accurate data entry

**An Advantage**:

- A level education, with particular focus on English, Maths and Business Skills

**Hours of Work**

Normal working hours are 37.5 per week over five days and you may be required, on occasion, to work overtime to meet business needs.
