**Behaviour Mentor**

**The Supply Room** is currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as **Behaviour Mentors** in a **Pupil Referral Unit** located in **Fishponds, Bristol.** This is a challenging role that requires resilience and the ability to work with students with **Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs**.

As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be **responsible for supporting students across various year groups,** helping them overcome barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour. **Previous experience working with pupils is essential,** as you will need to have the skills and knowledge to effectively engage and communicate with students who may have complex needs.

No formal qualifications are required for this role, but **previous training in team teach, positive behavioural training, and SEN (Special Educational Needs**) is highly desirable. We believe that a combination of experience and training will equip you with the necessary skills to make a real difference in the lives of these students.

In this temporary, long-term position, you will work closely with teachers and other staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment. Your role will involve implementing strategies to **manage challenging behaviour, offering guidance and support to students, and providing feedback to teachers and parents/carers on student progress.**

We understand the importance of recognising the hard work and dedication of our staff. The pay rate for this role ranges from £82.50 to £90 per day, reflecting the level of expertise and commitment required. Additionally, as a temporary member of staff, you will have access to our extensive network of support and resources to enhance your professional development.
