**SUMMARY OF ROLE**:

- To support in the delivery of the business’ goals by supporting the production process to deliver products in the volume, and to quality standard, required by the customer.
- To work with Machine Operators to deliver productivity targets.
- Supporting the Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and encourage teamwork from all team members.
- To maintain Company Policies and procedures in compliance with Health & Safety, Hygiene and other external regulatory standards.

**KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Collect finished goods from bag tender at speed appropriate for machine without delay
- Pack finished product into gathered bundles or boxes (as instructed by customer order) and build finished goods onto pallet in neat and safe manner
- Carry out inline quality checks to ensure product adheres to CPS i.e. correct pantone hades, print, bag formation, parcel / pack quality, labelling, palletising highlighting any issues to Machine Operator in first instance
- Escalate any quality concerns to line manager
- Ensure all production and quality documentation is completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Support the Maintenance function as appropriate in fault finding and resolution
- Demonstrate good housekeeping by ensuring machine, machine area and tool cabinet are in good order, clean and tidy
- Maintain disciplines in wearing of PPE and Hygiene compliance.

**EXPERIENCE and EDUCATION GUIDELINES**:

- Educated to standard grade level
- Experience in high volume manufacturing environment preferable

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.56 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
