FM Conway is currently recruiting for a **Claims Handler** to work within our Insurance Team. As our **Claims Handler** you will be required to manage an extensive portfolio of claims, with delegated authority to take each case to final settlement within company regulations and policies. You will be required to work as part of an experienced claims team to handle and settle cases in a timely and customer focused manner. This is a permanent, full time positions based from our head office in Sevenoaks, Kent.
**The duties of the Claims Handler role will include**:
- Resolving complaints and appeals, ensuring the highest quality of customer service at all times
- Ensuring that all personal injury and property claims are assessed and negotiated in accordance with company policies
- Providing accurate information and reports to support Senior Management in the delivery of business strategies and decision making
- Handling desk-based incident and case management, within specific time limits and putting processes, procedures and escalation points in place
- Overseeing claim costs by implementing agreed processes and deploying all resources effectively
- Visiting scenes to gather information, assess potential loss and reserving requirements in accordance with company procedures
**What skills and experience do you need?**
You will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and you will be comfortable
this role, you must have a strong customer focus, good attention to detail and be able to work as
part of a team as well as on your own. Experience of working in a claims handling role previously would be preferable. Travel to other company locations may be required therefore, is it essential that you have a full UK driving license.
