As a Staffing coordinator you will:

- Give efficient support to the allocation of care workers and offer a staffing team that is best suited to the service users needs. Ensuring service users needs, preferences, and staff availability is always the main priority and maximised.
- Communicate a detailed schedule and ensure that care workers have access to up-to-date information regarding clients and their care plans.
- Implement contingency plans for unexpected absences or emergencies to ensure uninterrupted care services.
- Collaborate closely with staff, care co-ordinators, registered managers and healthcare professionals to create comprehensive care plans that are person-centered and adaptable to changing circumstances.
- Ensure that staff are aware of all necessary information, such as medication management, dietary requirements, mobility support, and emotional support.
- Establish and maintain open and empathetic communication with service users and their families.
- Act as a point of contact for all on site staff to address concerns, questions, or requests related to care services.
- Act as the responsible person for payroll related queries, ensuring these are resolved in a quick and timely manner, no matter the circumstances. This includes addressing any behavioural concerns properly.
- Adhere to CQC obligations, and stay well-informed about the latest CQC regulations, standards, and guidelines applicable to domiciliary care and supported living.
- Have 1 years experience in a similar role
- Have experience managing staff coordination
- Possess excellent communication skills
- Be fast thinking and able to work under pressure in a team environment
- Offer a consultative and supportive approach to clients
- Have experience compiling staffing teams and rotas
- Have some experience working withing recruitment and selection

Specifics of Role
- Working hours are 08:30-17:30
- Office is based in Canary Wharf
- Looking for an Associate Staffing Coordinator or experienced Staffing Coordinator, hence the sliding scale of the salary.
