Tail Lift Fitter

Due to expansion we are looking for an experienced tail lift fitter to maintain & repair tail lifts and commercial vehicle bodies.

Covering central Scotland with the flexibility to work in other areas of Scotland if or when required.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Working remotely using your own initiative and working to schedules
- Carrying out Servicing, Maintenance & Repairs of Commercial Vehicle Tail Lifts
- Undertaking Weight Testing and repairs
- Commercial Vehicle Body repairs and replacing exterior body parts including wing mirrors, trim, etc.
- Other duties as required

Experience required:

- Previous commercial vehicle tail lift service, maintenance & repair work is essential
- Knowledge of relevant LOLER or PUWER regs. for lifting equipment
- Any Welding or basic Fabrication experience would be an advantage
- Relevant electrical experience is expected
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Excellent customer service abilities
- Good communication skills
- Excellent self-motivation and organisational skills

Additional Details:

- Call-out/standby rates are paid
- 42.5 hr contracted hours per week

**Salary**: £14.00-£17.00 per hour
