**Role**:Wellbeing Assistant

**Basis**: Permanent, full time

**Based from**:Queensgate Apartments, Sidcup.

**Department**: Wellbeing

**Salary**:£23,000-£25,000 per annum

**Hours**:

- 37.5 hours per week
- Shift pattern**:8am - 4pm or 12pm-8pm.
- 5 days per week on a rota, expected to work every other weekend and bank holidays as required.

**Responsible to**: Head of Wellbeing

**Job Summary**:
Are you passionate about supporting the older generation with independent living? We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic wellbeing assistant to join our team at our luxury retirement development in Sidcup. Our development offers a bar, restaurant, club room, gym, salon and delivers a wide variety of on-site services.

You must be willing to go the extra mile in supporting our neighbors with activities, ensuring they settle in well when they move in, always acting with compassion and kindness whilst building great relationships with them and their families. No two days are the same and will offer great variety within role.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Assisting neighbours with registering with a GP surgery
- Organising hospital transport for appointments
- Providing support and inclusion within the community at Queensgate
- Offering companionship and friendship
- Liaisng with families regually and building and developing long lasting relationships
- Being aware of your neighbours and any changes in behavoiurs are raised
- Administration required on Life Loop, our internal communication system.
- Undertake activities with neighbours
- Any other duties as defined by the head of wellbeing

**Qualifications & skills**:

- Advantageous to have experience working within a care setting.
- Good communication skills both spoken and written.
- Personable and enjoys meeting new people and building relationships
- Able to connect on a personal level with individuals from all walks of life
- A self-starter who is happy to work independently within their role
- A team layer who is happy to be aligned with our philosophy of saying

‘yes’
- Enhanced DBS check will be required.

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
