Working in a Care home for adults with Dementia

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and customer preferences
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the safety and quality of food
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth operations during events
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Understand and IDDSI levels

**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a cook or chef in a catering environment
- Knowledge of various cooking techniques and cuisines
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely preparation of meals
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills

**Salary**: £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
