Do you have previous Hygiene or Factory cleaning experience? If so, I would love to hear from you

My client, a market-leading business with fantastic family-focused values, is seeking a Hygiene Cleaner to join their team on the shop floor. If you have worked in a similar role before, you'll know it's hard work The role requires you to be on your feet and is repetitive and physically challenging most of the time. Applicants will need to be self-motivated and pro-active, as well as an excellent team player (they are a really friendly bunch and always smiling).

**Aside from swapping jokes with your team, the role will involve**:

- Leading on plastic packaging washing and chemical handling.
- Ensuring bio-security hygiene measures are followed and waste is reduced/put into the correct waste streams.
- Machine cleaning and stock/storage maintenance.
- External cleaning to cover offices, bins, windows, car park, yard and external surfaces.

Don't worry if you don't have all the experience and knowledge, there will be training and total support from the Hygiene Supervisor and wider team. You just need to be willing to learn and get stuck in

**The essential skills you do need include**:

- Great communication skills and attention to detail.
- Good knowledge of hygiene practices, and experience in a similar role.
- Excellent team working skills, and a positive and friendly personality.
- GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths.

Working hours are usually Monday to Friday, 7am - 3pm, and the rate of pay is £10 per hour.
