Milestone Infrastructure Ltd has a requirement for a Supervisor to plan and manage the Highway Maintenance works across the Wiltshire Highways Maintenance Contract, based out of the depot in Melksham

You will** **work with the client, the supply chain and our own management team, to plan and deliver the works, on time, within budget and safely, whilst offering a high quality service to our customers. To manage the direct operational team and supply chain and to keep the depot fit for purpose

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**
- Planning and programming the works
- Plant and material ordering
- Roadspace requests
- Producing works packs including Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental information such as CPPs, RAs, MSs, Permits and ITPs
- Site management of the direct and supply chain teams
- Performance mgmt. and safety and environmental compliance
- Site control of quality, safety and environment
- Presenting inductions and on site briefings and carrying out inspections
- Using the contract works management system
- Budget forecasting, cost capture and cost control
- Change management, raising EWs and documenting change
- Maintaining the depot - clean, tidy, safe, environmentally compliant, safe off loading
- Winter Maintenance and Emergency Call Out Supervisory responsibilities **Essential Criteria**
- Team player with good collaborative working skills, able to engage, guide and influence others, including Milestone colleagues, customers and suppliers
- Client focused approach
- Good communication skills: verbal, presentations and reports
- Basic skills in the use of computer software packages such as word, excel and works management systems
- Self motivated, able to manage own workload, prioritise and set own timetable
- Attention to detail and persistent
- Knowledge and experience in the delivery of highways works
- Knowledge and commitment to industry safety and environmental procedures, legislation and practice
- Commitment to operational performance
- Basic commercial knowledge and understanding

**Qualifications and competencies**
- IT basics essential
- Safety and Environmental qualifications essential
- CSCS / CPCS essentialIOSHH / NEBOSH desired
- Experience and ability to manage people - drive, coach, support, challenge and manage difficult conversations
