Business Intelligence Partner

Location: Norwich, Glasgow or Perth

**Salary**: £40,000 - £50,000

We have a fantastic opportunity for a career driven Business Intelligence (BI) Business Partner to join our newly restructured team. This is a great job for someone who has a strong background in data combined with excellent communication and engagement skills.

Reporting into the BI Senior Business Partner you will be responsible for building a highly effective 2-way connection between the Business Intelligence team and an area within the UK General Insurance Claims business. You will translate business problems and opportunities into technical data requirements and provide value adding insight back into the business.

A bit about the job:

- Emended within a specific area of the Claims business, share business knowledge with other BI team members to deliver high quality, relevant business intelligence solutions
- Facilitate the prioritisation and coordination of BI developments for a specific area of Claims, focussing on strategic initiatives, regulatory requirements, and provide support to risk events whilst also dedicating specific time to innovation and process improvements
- Fully utilise unique position with Claims, combining business and data knowledge to add value to the data provided by the Data Visualisation pillar
- Aligned to a specific area of Claims, maximise the return on investment in self-serve BI through increased usage, both in terms of the number of users across Claims and the usage per person
- Drive improvements in user data literacy by ensuring outputs are relevant, effective and easy to understand

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, ability to build strong relationships, internally and externally
- Ability to present complex information concisely at senior management level
- Strong Planning, Prioritisation, Organisational, Time Management skills with a strong work ethic
- Analytical mindset driving both proactive and reactive actionable insight aligned to strategic themes
- Knowledge of analysing, modelling, and interpreting data

- Starting salary between £40,000 and £50,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
