Warehouse Operative/forklift Driver

At dnata we handle a variety of cargo, ranging from live animals to luxury cars, ensuring it is safely and securely prepared to travel. You will be required to load and off-load cargo vehicles and operate a fork lift truck and other mechanical equipment, as well as perform some manual handling. You will also be expected to use hand held devices to locate and identify cargo and process paperwork in accordance with client requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Applicants must be fluent in both verbal and written English
- Forklift truck licence is desirable (counterbalance)
- A full UK/EU driving licence with 1 years driving experience (desirable)
- Safety driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment
- Pre-employment checks - ability to achieve successful completion of the referencing (checkable 5-year employment/education history) and criminal record check procedures to meet dnata and CAA security regulations, and a satisfactory medical report.

**Hours of work**:

- 42 hours per week over a rotating cycle consisting of day and night shifts
- 4 on 4 off roster pattern working 12-hour shifts
- The job holder must have a flexible approach to working variable shift patterns within our 24-hour operation
- **Salary**:£33,550.23 per annum, inclusive of bonus and benefits

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.32-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week
