Job description:
Your key responsibilities as the Payroll Supervisor will consist of:

- Coach, develop & upskill Payroll Co-Ordinators to ensure they are confident and competent to handle day-to-day payroll activity.
- Responsible for supporting more complex payroll queries within the team.
- Promotion of People Services Plan activity
- Work in partnership with HR Business Partners to establish specific requirements & deliver appropriate, measurable solutions to achieve exceptional standards across our Payroll pillars;

- Work collaboratively with Payroll Co-Ordinator's to achieve collective Payroll deadlines
- Responsible for HR Interface tools for new site employee uploads and salary reviews
- Ensuring accurate data from the payrolls for HMRC obligations and liaising with the Payroll Team Leader with any discrepancies before any payments are made.
- Support the delivery of pension obligations with the monthly/weekly balancing and working alongside the Pension Co-Ordinator for accurate payment and reporting.
- Work closely with the Payroll Finance Lead to ensure accurate processing and balancing of third party payment obligations
- To ensure both payroll and expense hierarchies are up to date in align with business requirements

Profile description:
The experience and knowledge we are looking for from our future Payroll Supervisor include:

- Background in Payroll is essential.
- The ability to adapt your style to engage with your audience, setting the bar high with excellent customer service
- Confident communicator with the ability to tackle problems and resolve
- Proven ability to work with complex / detailed information with an excellent eye for detail
- Highly organised with excellent, demonstrable Microsoft Office skills
- A team player with a flexible approach to work and job variety
- Warm, friendly and genuine
