Central & Southern Scotland Headquarters, Glasgow is looking to recruit a Divisional Secretarial Support Person to join their team.

To provide a full range of secretarial services to Divisional Leaders and to provide general administrative duties in support of the functions of the Divisional Headquarters.

**_ _**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a professional, pro-active, and customer-focussed secretarial service that supports the Divisional Leaders in their roles. The DSS role will also support other Divisional Headquarters colleagues as needed.
- Contribute to the work of divisional boards through preparing board papers ahead of meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
- Draft a variety of documents for the divisional leaders including letters, reports and presentations as requested.
- Maintain both computer databases and hard copy filing systems as required, ensuring that confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately.
- Support the planning and administration of conferences, events, and projects.
- Undertake any other duties that fall within the scope of the role.
- Previous experience of working successfully in a similar secretarial role within a busy and varied work environment
- Good communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent organisational skills.
- Appreciation of and commitment to working within The Salvation Army’s Christian ethos and key values.
