Due to company growth, we have an exciting new opportunity at Rebecca Udall for a Buying Assistant to join our Buying team.

This role will ideally suit an individual with excellent administration skills, a ‘can do’ & positive attitude, highly organised with a keen eye for details and ability to maintain accurate data. You will enjoy both numerical and creative tasks. A passion for homeware is important and will join a likeminded team who work in a collaborative & positive team environment. You will have strong opportunity to progress as we continue to grow and contribute to product development and designs, if this is of interest.

**Key Responsibilities for our Buying Assistant**
- Managing samples in line with the critical path and assisting the Buying team with testing samples, checking and processing production samples
- Managing price changes to ensure all is correct within the system (reductions & increases)
- Managing all barcode and label data including EAN (European Article Number) codes and to ensure smooth processing of stock into the business
- Creating & managing Purchase Orders, checking in Purchase Orders
- Maintaining accurate data withing the buying planning merchandising system
- Completing ad-hoc tasks withing the buying planning merchandising system including setting up new suppliers, brands etc
- Adding core product information
- Managing products to send to photography & checking colours
- Ensuring back of house product information is correct such as HS codes, country of origin, cost price information and tagging for report
- Liaising with suppliers for updates for PO lead times

**About you**
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and demonstrable administration experience
- High attention to detail and strong MS Excel skills
- Organisation skills with the ability to prioritise

We are looking for someone with excellent administrative and computer skills who is also enthusiastic about luxury homewares, has a positive outlook, excellent attention to detail and great team & communication skills.

Pay: £20,000.00-£23,000.00 per year
