**People Assistant**
**Salary Range**: £22,010 - £23,000 per annum FTE (37 hours per week)
**Contracted Hours**: 37 per week
**Location / Base**: Hybrid working with an expectation of 1-2 days in the Battle or Pembury office each week and travel to other sites as required

Calling all organisational experts and multitasking maestros As our People Assistant, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring our team runs like a well-oiled machine. From setting up new starters, answering general people enquiries, assisting with the learning and development needs and ensuring a smooth departure when people decide to move onto pastures new, you’ll be the go-to guru for all things people at Aspens.

Our mission at Aspens is to provide high quality care and support to individuals on the autism spectrum and with learning disabilities; meeting their needs and aspirations and empowering them to learn and grow through an integrated network of services across the South-East.

The People Department (formally known as HR) benefits from having specialists in recruitment, advisory and learning & development. We work a hybrid model, attending our sites and services on a regular basis. For this role the expectation is that it will be based from our offices in Battle or Pembury one - two times a week.

**What are we looking for?**
- We feel to be comfortable and enjoy this role you need to either have experience of working in a high-volume administrative role or have a willingness to embrace this challenge.
- Previous experience social care or education would be beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to work accurately, with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong IT skills, with experience of HR systems and Microsoft office products
- Excellent problem solver, demonstrating empathy and creativity
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and multitask in a fast-paced professional environment
- Strong team player essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and develop
- To enjoy working with people
- Driver’s licence with access to a car ideally
