Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced ad-hoc Van Driver to join our team. As an ad-hoc Van Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations. This can be a physically demanding role that may require heavy lifting and excellent communication skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate a commercial van to deliver goods and materials
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate with customers to confirm delivery details and address any concerns
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and invoices
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Van Driver or Delivery Driver
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles
- Excellent knowledge of local traffic laws and routes
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

Pay: From £11.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 45 per week
