- **This role has flexibility on working hours as this can be part time / full time**:

- **The role is flexible working from home but will need to willing to travel to the Chilton site at least 1 or 2 times a month**:

- **They will need to flexible to travel to Sweden occasionally**:

- as the document controller alone doesn't justify full time)**

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The role is to be responsible for the storage and revision control of all project deliverables and associated documentation. Managing the inflow and outflow of documentation between JM and appointed contractors / suppliers. This includes engineering design deliverables, key contract and procurement documentation and documentation arising from the construction and commissioning phases. The role will also be responsible to support the project team in preparation of technical documents and procedures. And for managing the integration of project documentation into site systems at the end of the project.
- in/ from a document controller role in the same industry (chemical/engineering )
- They will need 4+ years' experience in the role
- They have dealt with project roles within a similar industry
- They are happy with independent working

**RESPONSIBILTIES**:

- Manage and maintain centralised Document Management System, including Controlled and Live Files, Libraries, Security Levels and Permissions, DMS development etc.
- Control documents, maintain accurate records, version control and file status
- Manage incoming and outgoing transmittals between JM and Contractors / Suppliers
- Support routine team meetings (Minutes of Meetings, Action Logs etc.)
- Maintain effective communication with all members of the various teams, provide support and advice on the correct flow of information

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Extensive experience working in similar Document Controller roles in a multi-disciplined Project Team
- Demonstrable IT skills using relevant technical software packages as well as MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, Projects, Adobe and 4 Projects with Viewpoint software
- Proven track record in office resources management
- Experience of project delivery processes including all stages of a project from concept to delivery
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work within a highly motivated performing team that function in a collaborative culture
- Self-driven and highly motivated
