We are the market-leading manufacturer of Celcon Blocks having been established as Celcon in 1949, being the first factory to produce precast aerated concrete blocks and screed being built in 1958.

Today we operate across three factories, one in Borough Green and two on the same campus in Pollington, employing over 250 people and enjoying a market share of circa 40% and a revenue in the region of £100m

We are now recruiting for a **Marketing and Communications Manager** to join our established and highly successful technical sales and marketing team

You will function as an operational business partner, a trusted advisor, and a change agent in supporting and guided by the Head of Marketing towards business modernisation and continued growth. The ability to balance strategic and operational work is essentialto succeed in the role.

Through understanding and demonstrating both strategic and operational work they will provide and deliver solutions in a pragmatic, business-oriented manner. In close collaboration with the regional management team, they will support the design and executionof marketing strategies across the region. This includes implementing processes, policies, procedures, and tools across the region with a mindset of continuous improvement and focus on Management.

The Role will support the Head of Marketing and the Management team on upskilling their own confidence and skills in branding, communications, and marketing. Driving the business towards modern practices and building our platforms. Collaborating in leadingdesign discussions, which help deliver on the strategic direction, and by advising their management stakeholders & leadership on the implications and benefits of the strategic business decisions.

**The Role will own key business projects to improve and de-risk the organisation such as but not limited to**:

- Campaign on the Behaviors
- Campaign on Purpose and Promise
- Social media
- Working closely to review and upgrade the suite of current marketing
- Sustainability

As an effective partner to the business the role will be both an operational deliverer and will perform through others. This will be done by fostering an open dialogue, motivating, and creating strong morale and spirit in the team, as well as by seeing thebigger picture and effectively delegating tasks when necessary.

The role will actively participate in the UK Management Team and contribute to driving the regional agenda.

This is a role for a talented, ambitious, and entrepreneurial business partner who has the tenacity, intellect, and drive to support the Marketing function to help shape the H+H business. **Set in the context of ambitious growth plans the role must**:

- To be of a caliber in holding qualifications such as CIM, to have the intellectual agility to contribute as a credible member of the leadership team.
- Be a Partner with a background in the manufacturing / B2b sector
- Creative lead with writing and design skills
- Highly organised with a strong eye for detail and ability to prioritise effectively
- Good understanding of the latest marketing tools, trends, techniques, and ability to optimise their use across all marketing channels
- Good people skills to interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams, and senior management
- Hands-on and delivery focused, committed to achieving KPI’s and results
- Experience from a mature business where good process and business discipline is embedded; must know what good looks like.
- Bring a proven record of delivering according to the business strategy and able to communicate the agenda effectively.
- Have an understanding of business dynamics and the ability to navigate through complexity.
- Be able to balance competing priorities and operational work, providing solutions in a pragmatic, business-oriented manner.
- Show leadership by example that engenders the respect of others; integrity, honesty, openness, and personal accountability.
- Be proactive and results oriented; takes a keen sense of personal ownership.
