**The Role**

National Care Employer of the Year is looking for full-time and part-time Specialist Key Workers to join the team in a specialist Transitions Project in the County Durham area.

As a SpecialistKey Worker, you will provide additional supervision and support to help young people live their lives safely and help them to acquire essential life skills i.e., understanding benefits, budgeting, cooking, and accessing education or training.

Dependent on experience & qualifications, £26,200 - £30,920 projected including sleeps per annum.

**Shift information**

Specialist Support Worker Shifts are on a 3-week rolling rota, depending on the team you are allocated to, will determine what week you start, x3 sleeps per week, 13 hour shifts, Sleep-in allowance is paid. Overtime is sometimes available. Mileage is also paid where applicable.

**Essential Requirements**:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Children) or equivalent (or willingness to work towards)

A driving licence and access to a vehicle

Previous experience of working with: Children, 16-18 years old; youth offending; care leavers; substance/alcohol misuse
