A unique opportunity has arisen for a bright, creative and well organised individual that will complete the Level 3 Junior Content Producer Apprenticeship and complete the associated apprenticeship standard.
This apprenticeship vacancy would suit an individual who has an interest in pursuing a career in multimedia development. The individual will not only be technically minded but also show an interest in art, design and communication.
The Multimedia Apprentice would be managed by the Trust’s Digital Educational Manager and be supported to carry out activities including:
- Design, production and editing of graphics (using Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator)
- Develop multimedia content through the use of software and utilising technologies such as HTML5 and JavaScript.
- Capture and edit images and videos (using industry standard equipment)
- Update and develop web content
- Provide helpdesk support
- Assist the Digital Education team in the maintaining content hosting, on both ESR and web servers
The Multimedia Apprentice would be expected to be professional, treat everyone with kindness and respect, and have the confidence to communicate with external education providers / assessors, members of the public, staff at all levels and members of the wider Learning and Development Department.
The job requires the apprentice to be flexible and alter activities and priorities as the need arises.

**Key Result Areas**:
1. Assist in the development of multimedia based content for education and promotional purposes.
2. Assist the Digital Education Team in the management and hosting of digital content, liaising with outside organisations when necessary establishing and maintaining links with existing IT systems. Persuasive and diplomacy skills are essential in resolving issues.
3. Responsible for developing good working relationships with trainers across the Trust in order to develop and implement efficient and effective digital content that meets Trust and National requirements.
5. Responsible for record keeping and quality assurance processes to enable the effectiveness of Digital Education programmes and ongoing system maintenance.
6. The post holder will be required to research the fault resolution process using vendor documentation, electronic manuals and internet databases.
7. These Key result areas are intended to provide an outline of the main responsibilities of the role. However, as this is new role the post holder will need to be flexible in developing this through initial and ongoing discussions with their line manager.
8. The post holder will be an integrated part of the Learning and Development Department and provide help and support to other areas during periods of high activity.
