Senior Planner

Chubb Systems provides large integrated electronic security solutions to major clients operating in a variety of industries. We will soon undertake a large installation & maintenance project with a prestigious customer which operates in the energy sector.Chubb Systems will be looking to employ a number of experienced professionals capable of exceeding the client’s expectations by delivering the work on schedule and within the agreed budget. This role is based in Blackburn and would suit a Senior Planner wholives locally to Manchester, Burnley, Bury, Bolton, Preston, Clitheroe

Chubb Systems is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Planner. The Senior Planner will be responsible for the supervision and day to day management of the Planning and Project Controls team allocated by the Commercial and Contracts Director or SeniorLeadership.

**What will I be doing as a Project Senior Planner?**
- Working with the Bids/ Estimating, operational and commercial team(s) create baseline project plans from first principles.
- You will be responsible for the creation and periodic updating of appropriate programmes/ business control data to monitor and report against the overall capacity of the business
- You will be the post contract liaison with Customers and their consultant Project Management, Planning and Commercial team(s)
- Oversee the preparation and Submission of Interim Progress Reports, including presentation and negotiation with the Customer and their Consultant(s)

**Qualifications**

**To be successful in this role you will possess**:

- BSc (Hons) in Construction management and/ or equivalent qualification along with expert knowledge and understanding of various project controls and measurements of project performance including CPI, SPI, Earned Value etc.
- Extensive experience in a similar position managing the commercial outcome of projects of a similar nature (Critical National Infrastructure/ Energy)
- Good working knowledge of the planning requirements dictated with forms of contract currently used within the Building and Civil Engineering industries including the JCT and NEC 3 and 4 suites of contracts.
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Asta PowerProject, MS Project, etc. are also required.
- Current UK driving licence (with national travel)
