Bermondsey, United Kingdom Mash Paddle Brewery Full time

**Background**

Mash Paddle Brewery is the newest addition to the renowned Bermondsey Beer Mile, South East London. Located on Enid Street, in the heart of London’s craft beer scene, we are a taproom and brewery with a big difference - our kit is open for the public to use to make their own amazing beer.

The brewery is kitted out with industry quality stainless steel pilot kit, and we provide experiences, courses and access to expert guidance, the freshest ingredients, and the space to brew, ferment, and bottle.

Bringing brewing to the people is central to everything we do, as well as holding competitions and examinations we host London Amateur Brewers each month, where members bring samples of their own beers in for honest (sometimes too honest?) feedback and advice, and give talks and presentations.

**Job Purpose**

Functionally, the role is ensuring that everything in the taproom runs smoothly - customers feel welcome, beer is pouring perfectly, low stock is recorded, and the place feels a nice place to spend a little time.

But really the role is so much more than that - our taproom is the first place guests see, and a place they should feel welcome, comfortable, and relaxed - and the Taproom Staff are responsible for creating this environment. The right staff are ambassadors or the brand, able to recommend beers and promote our brewing experiences.

**Responsibilities**
- Serving customers, creating a 'taproom vibe'
