The team are hybrid working, currently this is mainly working from home, but your base will be St Mary's Hospital. There will be an expectation to be onsite when required/needed.

The Trust's employee pathway is supported by multiple teams and varying systems. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our eRostering team, for a highly motivated individual, with rostering experience, who enjoys working as part of a team. The eRostering Supervisor role will have day to day line management of the eRostering and expenses team and its systems including Health Roster, Employee Online, EASY expenses, Roster Perform, Wagestream and LOOP.

Acting as an expert user of Health Roster you will proactively monitor the system to identify concerns as well as being responsible for the production of regular performance and benefits realisation reports.

You will be required to have excellent IT skills, communication and interpersonal skills, be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- To oversee the day to day line management of the e-Rostering and eExpenses Team, by leading the team to support colleagues in the creation and management of effective rosters to continue delivery of safe and effective care throughout the Trust.
- Share knowledge and skills with the e-Rostering and eExpenses Administrators so that all are able to support system users, and to act as point of contact for any complex queries.
- Oversee the day to day running of the systems throughout the Trust, and the implementation of any new functions and projects, in addition to managing the monthly payroll.
- To champion and implement best practice approaches to maximise the use of eRostering systems across the Trust, delivering training and ensuring guidance documents are reviewed and updated periodically.
- To ensure that all units are building rosters in line with the trust’s guidelines, advising users how best to ensure all units are staffed appropriately according to Lord Carter’s metrics.
- Consistently high attention to detail and quality of analytical work; being able to provide clear narrative when sharing any data or visualisations; both in writing and in person.
- Prioritisation skills with ability to manage multiple strands of work with competing deadlines.

The eRostering Team is a small team with a customer service and systems focus who strive to provide a high standard of support across the trust. Working in a fast paced, pressurised environment, using problem solving skills for assessment of facts or situations in order to find resolutions.
