**National Account Manager - FMCG / Retail

£50,000 - £55,000**

Are you a business development / account management professional with a proven track record of driving sales within an FMCG environment?
Do you have experience of successfully managing and growing accounts in Retail?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established FMCG business going through an exciting period of growth and development, whose customers are amongst the biggest players in the UK retail market.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Taking ownership of your defined product category, covering both existing account management and new business development
- Developing appropriate strategies to grow and develop existing customer accounts, including conducting analysis and range reviews to maximise sales
- Winning new retail accounts to further business growth opportunities
- Preparing customer presentations and tender proposals for high value business opportunities
- Achieving annual sales and margin budgets

**Ideal Skills and Experience**
- Proven track record in both account management and new business development
- Previous experience in FMCG, managing retail accounts
- Experience preparing and submitting high value tenders
- Commercial acumen and strong negotiation skills
- Drive and ambition to deliver strong sales performance across your accounts
- Confidence to work independently and autonomously
