**Supply Planner - 3rd Party**

**Key Purpose Statement**

The Supply Planner - 3rd Party is accountable for providing a supply plan for both Asahi owned and 3rd party products that maximises target stock holding levels and availability to the 3rd party channel.

The planning process involves short term planning in addition to longer term planning for peak periods and identifying capacity constraints. The supply planner will also manage the relationship with 3rd party suppliers and internal depots to ensure day to day operations run effectively, proactive resolution of any issues that may occur and continuously improving how we work. This being achieved through effective development and coaching of 2 direct reports in line with the Asahi behaviours.

**Key Accountabilities**

The Supply Planner will be responsible for below outputs:

- Planning supply of a portfolio of bought in 3rd party products
- Managing the tank beer planning process.
- Setting, reviewing, and maintaining stock policies in SAP
- Planning med - long term stock build for peak periods (Xmas, bank holidays), including storage capacity planning
- Pro-actively managing any stock outs/service level issues to minimise business impact
- Leading root cause analysis of stock outs and service level issues
- Managing stock at risk process for all 3rd party and wines including monthly reporting of risk to finance BP
- Work with onsite warehouses to understand and plan inventory holding in line with current storage capacity.
- Lead SKU rationalisation process for 3rd party/bought ins
- Working closely with the wine team to review product range and forecasts

Process Improvement
- Lead the MRP project in order to move current manual planning processes onto a SAP based replenishment process
- Collaborate with demand planning and the wine commercial team to introduce a centralised forecasting process, to replace current ROS based planning

Team Leadership
- Responsible for managing and developing 2 direct reports, identifying all training needs to aid performance and progression
- Maintaining and developing all Training & Induction material for the ABEG supply planning function including all Operating Procedure documentation
- Recruiting to fill vacancies in the team when necessary.

**Experience Required**
- Degree is essential, preferably in a relevant area
- Substantial supply planning or operational planning experience in an FMCG environment (particularly supply from European factories)
- Advanced Excel (Power Query advantageous)for reporting and analysis.
- Strong analytical skills able to make the connections in data, events and trends.
- Customer or supplier relationship management experience
- Experience in a high volume, detailed and process driven organisation
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of the wider E2E Supply Chain ideally within an FMCG environment.
