Job Title: Entry Level Teaching Assistant

Location: South Leeds and Wakefield

**Salary**: Competitive

We are currently seeking motivated and enthusiastic individuals to work as Teaching Assistants within the Wakefield and South Leeds area. We have both full time and part time roles available in a range of fantastic schools. This is a great opportunity to further progress yourself at both a personal and professional level.

Key responsibilities:

- Support the classroom teacher in the delivery of lessons and activities
- Provide one to one support to pupils with additional needs, including those with SEND and EAL
- Promote positive behaviour and create a safe and inclusive learning environment
- A passion for working with children and a desire to support their learning and development
- Good communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work
- A basic understanding of child development and the national curriculum
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
