The Royal Berkshire Foundation Trust is undertaking a major modernisation of its services and buildings to be delivered through the Building Berkshire Together (BBT) Programme. The programme is currently in the Outline Business Case phase and the core programme team has been established and will be further enhanced to deliver the Outline Business Case. We have a diverse population and are keen to recruit people who have experience in this area.

The Programme Delivery Lead for Service Planning will be a key member of BBT’s Senior Programme Team with professional accountability and responsibility for the delivery of one or more of the Programmes workstreams, each of which contain a number of varied and complex projects. This role will be influential in the development and implementation of the Clinical Model derived from the Trust’s Clinical Services Strategy (CSS). The post holder will lead the work to help accelerate transformation plans to support this, coordinating planning and transformation activity and expertise for the programme in this area.

The post holder will work collaboratively and in partnership with key clinical & enabling departments, Trust leaders, staff and patient groups, our Integrated Care System (ICS), Academia, other new hospital sites and areas of best practice.

The Clinical Model will deliver the essential outputs required for the options in the Outline Business Case such as the schedules of accommodation and the design brief and then will progress to leading aspects of the transition of services to new accommodation.
