**About Us**

**About the role**

We’re looking for an IT Buyer to join us, to take responsibility for ensuring the best value and levels of service from our purchased products and services. You will be involved in managing and maintaining new supplier contracts and software subscriptions, identifying savings opportunities for renewals, software licensing and service support agreements through building strong relationships with suppliers, as well as collating information for budgeting, negotiations and cost comparisons.

This position is based at our office in Hatfield, travel may be required. We're also happy to talk about flexible working with you

**About you**

**We’d love to hear from you if you have..**- Experience in providing contract/procurement administration within IT software support services- Proven track record in providing contract / procurement administration- A good understanding of contracts / procurement process- An understanding of IT hardware/software and maintenance/ support services- Ability to prioritize workload against business/project requirements and key customers- Natural ability to provide high quality customer service- Proven track record in liaising with external suppliers including B2B- Proven track record of delivering cost reduction across multiple suppliers

**It would be great but it’s not essential if you have;**- CIPS qualification Level 5 or working towards, an appreciation of ITIL- Experience using Oracle Fusion
