**CNC Miller 3 Axis**

Our client is a precision engineering company based in in Essex, specialising in complex prismatic parts for transmission and drive trains for aerospace, motorsport and the oil and gas industries etc. We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Miller 3 Axis.

**Essential Requirements**:

- To be able to program, set and operate 3 & 4 axis milling machines
- To be able to read drawings and understand critical features
- To be able to find efficient methods of producing parts
- To be able to write, prove and run programs
- To be able to troubleshoot problems
- To be able to inspect parts to Drawings
- Someone who is continuously looking to improve methods, efficiency and procedures

**Non-Essential Requirements**:

- Preferably someone who has used Hypermill Camware or similar packages, but this is not essential.
- Program Mazak Machines (however on the job training is available).
- Apprentice Trained.

The successful CNC Miller will be involved in machining interesting parts that are small to medium batch quantities. You will be required to create programs with experience using CNC mills with 3 & 4 axis controls on Mazak vertical machining centers.

Hours of work: Monday-Friday 7.30 am
- 4 pm (40 hours)

Shift work and Nights available should you be interested.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £15.00-£17.50 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- CNC Miller: 3 years (preferred)
- 3 Axis: 3 years (preferred)
- Setting + Operating: 3 years (preferred)
- CNC programming from scratch: 3 years (preferred)

Work Location: In person
