Are you looking for a role that you can really make your own, and carve out your own progression path? Working for a high technology equipment manufacturer, this is a brand-new role for the business, looking after their warehouse and everything that is comingin and going out the doors. With an upcoming premises move coming in 2023, you’ll have the chance to be involved in the planning of the new warehouse space too With opportunities to learn more about purchasing, or perhaps production is more your thing, youwill definitely be able to expand your skillset here

You will be receiving and checking deliveries and using their MRP system to make sure the stock levels are correct. Kitting for production will also be your responsibility, but they can train you in how to do this if you haven’t done it before.

They also have an off-site storage facility not far from their site, so being able to drive is a must for this. You’ll be working as part of a small team of lovely people, and you will be an important part of the team too: you will get the opportunity toput your ideas into action

The Role: Stock Controller

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

- Receiving and checking deliveries
- Using MRP to always ensure correct stock levels
- Looking after the consumables
- Kitting
- Packing the equipment to be sent to customers
- Arranging shipments

The successful Stock Controller will have a driving license and consider themselves to be organised with a forward-thinking attitude

You will likely have had some experience in a similar role such as Warehouse Operative, Back Door Person, Inventory Controller, Stock Control, or any role where you’ve been responsible for checking in deliveries

You will probably live in or near one of these places: Amesbury, Salisbury, Winchester, Basingstoke, Reading, Andover, Newbury.
