Working as part of a Team to process monthly payroll for approx. 450 members of staff from 5 different Companies.

**THE OPPORTUNITY**

**Key Requirements**
- Ensure that employees are paid correctly and on time, whilst maintaining accurate records, working to strict statutory and company deadlines.
- Processing BACS payments for monthly payrolls
- Produce, reconcile, and process all third-party payments
- Reconciling PAYE figures both period by period and tax year end.
- Preparing and posting monthly payroll journals
- Set up new starters, leavers as well as job changes, making sure the details being entered are inputted correctly to the payroll systems.
- Reviewing absence reports, calculating, and processing absence related adjustments to pay and payment of Statutory Sick pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity pay, and Statutory Paternity pay.

**To be considered for the role you must have;**
- GCSE in Maths & English A-C grades (or equivalent).
- Working knowledge of Payroll System(s), Payroll Reporting, and an understanding of Working Agreements.
- Knowledge of salary-related legislation and Employment Law.
- Previous experience working within a payroll setting.
- Excellent computer skills.
