**Job Title: SEND Nurture Support Teaching Assistant**

**Location**: Aintree area, Merseyside

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-to-one support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene routines.
- Support the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Collaborate with other staff members and external professionals to meet the individual needs of each student.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.
- Implement behaviour management strategies and promote positive social interactions among students.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with children with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
- Willingness to support with personal care tasks.
- Additional qualifications in psychology or mental health support are desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEND.
