Full time Nanny required for two delightful girls age 1 and 2 in the Newby Bridge area of Cumbria.

This role is a mixture of sole and shared care depending on mums work schedule.

Due to the rural location of the family home a driver is essential.

The family employ a separate housekeeper so nursery duties only.

Monday - Friday 8am until 5.30 pm

Occasional extra babysitting when required.

Both girls are in good routines and enjoy going out to the local baby and toddler classes in their area.

Mum is keen for the Nanny to encourage the girl’s development with educational play and creative activities.

The Nanny must be confident preparing healthy meals and snacks for the girls.

£30,000 per year

''Duties''':

- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, such as playtime, arts and crafts, and educational games
- Prepare meals and snacks for children, ensuring they are nutritious and meet any dietary restrictions
- Assist with homework and school assignments, providing guidance and support as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including their bedrooms, play areas, and common areas
- Follow any specific instructions or routines provided by the parents regarding the children's care
- Monitor children's behavior and address any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Ensure the safety of the children at all times, both inside and outside of the home

- Previous experience working with children of various ages
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
